Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Facility Maintenance - Ops Mgr., this
position is responsible for coordinating and supervising the work
of all contractors in the general maintenance of facility buildings
and O/A property grounds. Senior Engineer - Mechanical (Facilities)
to support for HV Elec. Systems, HVAC units, all main Nat. Gas. &
Water In-flow system. Compose and manage facility related projects,
New Equipment installations and relocations from start to finish,
including defining SOW, quotes and timelines.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Engineer & Design solutions for New Equipment
Installation projects including the re-arrangements for all
facility & production equipment. Responsible for all project timing
and costs and coordination with other teams.
When needed, prior to delivery, will participate in equipment
buyoff with supplier; and during and after new equipment
installation, inspects major contract work on the electrical,
pneumatic, mechanical and other related systems.
Maintain all HV High Voltage Equipment. Conduct all necessary PM's
& Upgrades with external Elec. Engrs. & Master electricians
Maintain facility HVAC units and all Air Flow systems for
productions - HT Furnaces.
Assist with Internal ZF Mgrs. and External vendors for all
engineering solutions for all Energy Mgt. requirements,
improvements and concerns.
Maintain BMS System (Building management System - JCI) for all
facility connected equipment.
Supervises and assigns the work of external contractors. Verifies
work quality, productivity, costs and safety are adhered to SOW,
timelines and budget.
Understand and comply with TS16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.
Determines material, equipment, supplies, and time required to
complete tasks. Responsible to ensure all projects meet current
engineering principles, company standards and specifications.
Performs accident investigations. .
Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor degree in engineering
7 -8 + years' experience leading technical projects
Basic knowledge of the install, inspect, and repair of facility
building electrical & mechanical systems.
Basic knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, plumbing,
automated conveyor systems and other pressure and force
systems.
Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding
safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned
duties. Knowledge of MIOSHA safety requirements.
