Apartment Make Ready Technician/Maintenance Technician The Apartment Industry is booming, and the opportunities are endless! Smart Apartment Solutions is seeking a maintenance technician who will be responsible for performing general building maintenance and apartment repairs per assigned work orders or at the direction of the property manager. Job Responsibilities Include: - Complete and troubleshoot common apartment service requests - Fix minor plumping and electrical issues - Install and repair appliances - Repair general punch items - Trash out recently vacated apartments - Ensure apartment home will pass inspection for new move in - Exterior/Interior painting and caulking, and light drywall repair - Painting, pressure washing, and leaf blowing of breezeways and parking lots - Work on-call if hired permanently Must Have's: - Light electrical experience (6 months to 1 year) - Basic plumbing experience (years?) - Ability to install appliances - Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability - Ability and desire to jump in and assist with other community projects - Enjoy working with others and taking direction when needed - Own a set of basic hand tools such as a screwdriver, channel lock/pliers, and wrenches - Ability to lift 40-50 pounds - Maintain a friendly and customer service-oriented approach to co-workers and customers Nice to Have's: - Own a set of power tools
