THIS ROLE IS SEASONAL (3 MONTHS ONLY)

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This position is responsible for order picking for customer orders. Packaging and palletizing of orders per classifications. The individual will also prepare small package shipments for UPS shipping

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Picking and packing orders for customer shipments.
• Performing cycle counts.
• Keep assigned area clean and organized.
• Training of others may be required.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations of the organization, including reporting hazards, incidents, or accidents. Comply with all applicable safety statements.
• Other Duties as assigned

  KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
  
  
  • Minimum Experience - Entry level role.
  • Minimum Education - High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic understanding of computers.
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    
    
    • Preferred Experience - 2 years' experience in similar shipping and receiving role.
    • Knowledge of shipping practices and procedures.

      • The individual must possess good communication skills both verbally and written.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
