This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the department manager.Must be flexible and available to work any shift: nights, afternoons, weekends. 4-day workweek available for night and/or weekends.Essential Job Functions:Dispatching DriversMaintain and confirm schedulesCollect and maintain paperworkManage on-time dispatch requirementsTrack Driver pickups throughout the work dayEnsure paperwork is complete prior to dispatch and upon returnWork with local and state law enforcement agencies to ensure they have everything they needFollow up to ensure accurate communication with internal and external staff membersAnticipate potential problems and create contingency plansAble to multitask in a loud, fast paced, high call volume environment with frequent interruptionsFollows company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policiesAbility to effectively perform responsibilities under a high level of stressRegular interaction with peers on-site, including face-to-face meetings and spontaneous conferencesMust be flexible and available to work afternoons and weekendsGood interpersonal and communication skills with a calm demeanor towards customers and co-workersRegular and reliable attendance and presence at workOperate in a constant state of alertness and safe mannerPerform any duties as may be assignedQualifications/Experience/Education:High School graduate or equivalent and 2+ years of experience preferredCapable of using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, for data entryAble to learn software for data entry and reports and follow instructionMust have attention to detail, planning and organizational skillsStrong communication skills - verbal and writtenProficient in GPS tracking programsGood knowledge of vehicles and local geographyAble to pass 7-year background check#INDAOJZU0WVNbYTU
