This position is responsible for performing required ongoing support and maintenance activities to ensure proper EDI processing with our various global ERPs. The position may be based in Northville, MI and reports directly to the IT Manager - Managed Servicesof the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitors emails in team Inbox to resolve EDI issues related to Customer and/or Supplier EDI requirements.
• Responsible for the efficient processing (monitoring and administration) of incoming and outgoing EDI messages in the Seeburger application including Customer/Supplier connections.
• Creates user acceptance testing criteria and EDI application test plans.
• Provide support for EDI error resolution.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Participate in afterhours support rotation.
  
  Minimum Requirements
  
  Education: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Systems or another related field is preferred.
  
  Experience: 1-3 years' experience with at least one EDI standard.
  
  Skills
  
  • An understanding of EDI requirements in automotive industry (highly preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Seeburger translator package (highly preferred). Other industry-standard EDI translator (i.e., Gentran) is acceptable alternative depending on years of experience.
  • Familiarity with EDI communications standards and protocols - AS2, OFTP2, standard VAN-based EDI, FTP, FTPS.
  • An understanding of EDI requirements in automotive industry (highly preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Seeburger translator package (highly preferred). Other industry-standard EDI translator (i.e., Gentran) is acceptable alternative depending on years of experience.
  • Familiarity with EDI communications standards and protocols - AS2, OFTP2, standard VAN-based EDI, FTP, FTPS.
  • Ability to travel both within the US and globally.
