Job Description:

Sign-on bonus of $1,000 for CSRs (some restrictions apply).Up to $1,600 towards benefit expenses.The medical assistant, aka Clinical Service Representative (CSR), is a key member who works in conjunction with physicians, mid-level practitioners, office, and clinical staff to provide patient care management, administrative functions, and routine clinical procedures in WellStreet's fast-paced, high-energy clinical office environment.Minimum QualificationsMust be certified having successfully completed an MA, EMT, LPN, RN or X-Ray Tech program from an accredited school (one needed) Minimum of 1 year experience working in a healthcare setting (preferably urgent care or emergency room)Must be proficient in venipuncture and injections Must be well organized and able to multi-task seeing multiple patients at once in a fast-paced high-volume environmentKnowledge of clinical procedures, medical anatomy and physiologyDocumentation skills and attention to detailMust have a working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codesEffective communication and interaction with employers, patients, providers, and other colleagues. Ability to use tact and diplomacy appropriate to the situationAbility to work with staff members at all levels of the organization in a cooperative, team-oriented mannerMust be able to be mobile and work various positions (standing, sitting, bending, walking) for extended periods of timeMaintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environmentAbility to participate in initial and ongoing training as requiredConduct business in a service-oriented manner that is attentive, cooperative, sensitive, respectful and kind with dealing with patients, visitors, the public and all colleaguesExcellent customer service skillsEnergetic team playerBilingual preferredResponsible for traveling to all locationsResponsibilitiesPrepare patients for and assist with examination or treatmentsPerform triage and obtain vital signsObtain and document patient historyOperate office medical equipmentUnderstand and enforce standard health care regulatory requirementsCollect and maintain all patient and business documents while maintaining confidentialityResponsible for quality assurance program for compliance with CLIA waived laboratory and patient result trackers.Perform office procedures including all general administrative dutiesDocument Electronic Medical Record (EMR) all medical interventionsAssure HIPAA and OSHA complianceRoutine Clinical ProceduresAdminister medications and non-intravenous injections (intramuscular, subcutaneous & intradermal)Perform aseptic proceduresCollect routine laboratory specimens including phlebotomy, urinalysis and oral swabsPerform basic laboratory proceduresAbility to start an IV, placing a catheter, & splinting a plus Powered by JazzHRD13NgffnZyby Jobble
