Job Number: 27901 Group: Magna Exteriors Division: AIM Systems - Warren Job Type: Permanent/Regular Location: Warren Group DescriptionThe Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.Role Summary To assist in the completion of all processes for business development for the division; processing and submitting customer quotes in a timely manner, maintaining customer systems, Purchase order tracking and open commercial issue tracking and closure. Key Responsibilities --- Review and analyze customer RFQ packages to determine all program timing and performance requirements for distribution / communication to the team.--- Interface between Purchasing, APQP/Engineering, Finance and Sales. Communicate effectively all details of quote packages to the AIM staff responsible for providing feedback. Ensure that all departments are timely in providing their relevant quote information.--- Review data and provide Purchasing proper CAD data, ISO views, volumes, program timing etc for their use in supplier RFQ's.--- Complete customer specific piece price breakdowns and tooling breakdowns.Prepare the customer price and tooling breakdown forms for the quoting of new business to ensure 100% accuracy and deliver to the Sales Account Manager.--- Maintain customer specific on line quote systems and responses. --- Manage customer Purchase orders, receipt, accuracy verification, distribution--- Complete customer quotes for Engineering Changes, including customer system maintenance and maintain documentation and supporting info for all changes.--- Track all customer open financial issues and assist with managing meetings with the team to closure.--- Maintain customer systems for: Capacity Management, Change Notices, Bulletins, Green Reqs, Overtime recovery, tooling process verification, minority reporting, etc--- Perform other duties as assigned. Key Qualifications/Requirements To perform this job successfully; an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Special Knowledge:--- Engineering or Business degree preferred --- Demonstrated computer skills in PowerPoint, MS Windows, TEAMs--- Knowledge of assembly, sequencing, molding, metal stamping in the automotive industry preferred.--- Working knowledge of Customer Systems such as eSupplierConnect, DDL, SMART, etc. Experience:--- 5+ years of related automotive business development, quoting, sales experience.--- Excellent organizational and communication skills, required.--- Must understand cost margins, markup, logistics, etc., required.--- Ability to read and understand a Manufacturing Bill of Material, required.--- Ability to read and separate CAD data, a plus.
