their hard work and dedication. As the VP of Sales, you will have
the opportunity to contribute to our growing success by leading a
team and generating sales. As we continue our rapid annual growth,
we are seeking a dynamic leader of our sales team. In this role,
you will utilize your advanced skills in Leadership, Coaching,
negotiating, and mentoring a team to achieve sales goals.What
you'll do
- Implement strategies and plans to deliver double digit sales
growth annually.
- Establish and be responsible for Sales Department, development
and administration of budgets, annual and monthly sales plans, and
performance standards.
- Recruit, hire, train, evaluate employee performance and
recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary
action.
- Develop and maintain a high-performance culture in this
function, resulting in continued success meeting functional KPIs
and sales goals.
- Research and develop sales strategies which identify new
markets and sales opportunities.
- Plan customer retention strategies that increase revenue,
identify changes, adjust, and realign sales philosophy as
necessary.
- Negotiate and close complex bid packages from multi-site
corporate customers.
- Maintain and develop corporate relationships with current and
new customers: CEOs, Plant Managers, Engineering Managers,
Maintenance Managers and Maintenance Personnel
- Work in collaboration with Operations to develop pricing
structures, capabilities, and programs to align with market
changes.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual sales
analysis to Corporate Staff.
- Help solve customers problems and keep industry running!What
you'll bring
- BA/BS degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related
field
- 10+ years of related professional and progressive Sales
experience in Industrial Automation, Spare Parts or MRO field
- 5+ years of successful experience at a executive level in Sales
Management
- In depth experience in multiple manufacturing industries like
Automotive, Tier 1 and 2 Suppliers, Aerospace, Tire and Rubber,
etc.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business
deadlines.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Knowledge and thorough in-depth understanding of P&L
management, business strategy and sales managementWhy you'll love
