Constellation, a leading national provider of energy solutions, is seeking an ambitious Emerging Business Development Manager to join our dynamic Energy & Utilities team. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying and developing new business opportunities in renewable energy, energy management, and sustainability initiatives. You will play a key role in supporting our mission to provide innovative energy solutions that drive progress and support the needs of our diverse clientele across the U.S. Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the energy sector with a focus on sustainability and renewable energy solutions. Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, including large industrial consumers, governmental bodies, and residential communities. Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the energy sector. Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to tailor solutions that meet the specific needs of customers. Prepare and present business proposals and progress reports to senior management and external stakeholders. Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with the company’s strategic objectives. Stay updated on industry regulations, competitor strategies, and market trends to maintain a competitive edge. Strong business acumen and experience in business development or sales in the energy sector. Proven ability to negotiate and close deals. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or Business Development (e.g., APMP) is highly beneficial. Knowledge of renewable energy systems and sustainability practices is preferred.
