Job Description:
Hogan1 is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our
dynamic sales team and lead our efforts in expanding our market
share in the transportation and logistics sector. As an integral
part of our organization, the successful candidate will be
responsible for driving sales strategies, building and maintaining
strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within a
designated geographic area. The ideal candidate will possess a deep
understanding of the transportation and logistics industry,
demonstrate superb leadership abilities, and have a proven track
record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Develop and execute
strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. Lead and
mentor a team of sales representatives, setting achievable targets
and sales quotas. Maintain key customer relationships and develop
strategies for expanding the company’s customer base. Analyze
market trends and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities
and threats. Provide detailed sales forecasting and set performance
budgets. Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and
execute marketing materials and programs. Liaise with product
development and operations departments to ensure client needs and
expectations are met. Organize and attend client meetings, trade
shows, and industry conferences to promote Hogan1’s services.
Proven ability to negotiate and close deals. Strong analytical
skills to assess complex situations and make decisions. Excellent
leadership and team management skills. Effective communication and
presentation skills. High proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft
Office Suite. Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment. Certified Sales Professional (CSP) is preferred.
Professional certifications in Supply Chain Management such as
SCPro or CSCP are a plus.
