At Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart building solutions, we are looking for an HVAC Mechanical Project Team Leader II to lead our project teams toward enhancing building efficiency, sustainability, and security. This role is instrumental in delivering state-of-the-art HVAC solutions through innovative project management and leadership. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and customer satisfaction. Utilizing expert knowledge in HVAC systems and project management, the HVAC Mechanical Project Team Leader II will drive project success from initiation to closure, while mentoring team members and interfacing with clients and stakeholders. Manage and lead HVAC project teams from project inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. Develop detailed project plans to track progress and adjust as needed. Ensure resource availability and allocation, including management of third-party interactions. Measure project performance using appropriate systems and tools. Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Communicate effectively with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project. Lead and mentor project team members, fostering an environment of continuous improvement. Proven project management and leadership skills Strong understanding of HVAC systems and operations Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred HVAC certification (such as NATE/ICE) is advantageous
