Job Description Job Description Job Title: HVAC Service Technician Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems in commercial settings. With a focus on delivering high-quality service, you'll ensure that all installations and repairs meet industry standards while serving the Greater Philadelphia PA Tri-county Region. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in commercial environments. Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC issues efficiently. Ensure all installations and repairs comply with industry standards. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and submittal sheets. Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems. Use hand and power tools proficiently for HVAC repairs and installations. Conduct service calls to address customer concerns and resolve issues. Maintain a strong focus on customer service and uphold company values. Essential Skills High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification in HVAC preferred. Minimum of three years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and submittal sheets. Proficient in using hand and power tools. Basic understanding of installation, HVAC systems, and operating control systems. Ability to perform basic trade-related math calculations. General understanding of OSHA regulations; OSHA certifications beneficial but not required. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift heavy objects. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in residential and commercial properties during morning shifts from Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 3:00 pm, maintaining and servicing a variety of HVAC equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wayne, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
